Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed:

The Monkey Show is a community for everyone who loves games, comics, tabletop RPGs, movies and TV. That includes people with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to use themonkeyshow.org, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers, voice control or other assistive technology.

The standard we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is the standard most widely used to measure web accessibility, including under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Based on our latest review, we believe this website meets that standard. If you find a part that doesn't, please tell us.

What we've done

How we test

We check the site ourselves using automated testing with axe-core in Chrome, at desktop and phone sizes. We also test by hand, using only the keyboard and checking color contrast. We review accessibility again whenever we make significant changes to the site.

Known limitations

Our website links to services we don't control. These include Discord, Reddit, YouTube, Bluesky, GitHub and Steam. Those services have their own accessibility policies.

Our other community sites, such as the virtual tabletop, the requests site and the merch shop, run on third-party software and platforms. This statement doesn't cover them. We still want them to work for you, so if something gets in your way there, let us know and we'll do what we can.

Our events take place on Discord in text and voice chat. If you need a different way to take part, reach out and we'll work with you.

Tell us about a barrier

If you have trouble using any part of this site, or need information in a different format, we want to hear from you. You can reach us here:

It helps if you tell us which page or link you were on, what went wrong, and what browser or assistive technology you were using. We'll reply as soon as we can and work with you on a fix.
